The German-Greek singer brings both cultures together in her music and performances. With her warm, expressive voice, she sings in German and Greek about universal themes such as love, joy of life, and overcoming challenges – always with heart and soul.

Éntekhno singing became her signature early on and earned her praise from none other than Mikis Theodorakis, who described her as a “new voice of Greece” and supported her as a mentor for many years.

Marianna Masadi’s path was shaped by music from the very beginning. Born into a Greek family in southern Germany, she grew up within a vibrant Greek community, learning the language, dance, and music of her heritage from an early age. This dual cultural foundation continues to define her artistic identity today.

While she has long been an established and celebrated artist in Greece – appearing on TV shows, radio programs, and at festivals – she is now also gaining increasing recognition in Germany through popular shows such as “Immer wieder sonntags” and “Schlager-Spaß mit Andy Borg.”

With her new singles, Marianna Masadi brings the sound of a Greek summer straight to the heart. The songs “Auf Korfu will ich glücklich sein” (German) and “Kalimera Korfu” (English) will be released on May 15, 2026, combining two languages with one shared feeling: longing, joy of life, and a deep love for Greece.

“Auf Korfu will ich glücklich sein” is a declaration of love for the island, which represents both home and a place of longing for her. The idea was born during a family TV appearance – shortly afterwards, she traveled to Corfu with family and friends.

There, the lyrics developed naturally: during long evenings, over a glass of ouzaki, and while wandering through the island’s charming narrow streets.

Warm bouzouki sounds meet modern beats, blending pop schlager with a Mediterranean lifestyle. The songs tell stories of letting go, arriving, and simply enjoying the moment.
